How to use scenarios to compare offers
To compare mortgage offers, set up each one as a separate scenario in the Scenarios tab — entering its rate, term, and points — and review the side-by-side table of monthly payment, total interest, and total cost. The lowest total interest is usually the best offer, but consider how long you plan to stay in the home; if under five years, prioritize a lower rate over points.
